From the homepage, a nice little stats update as of Nov 14:

A few notables...

-In the Bake we have 4 forwards averaging over a point a game, Hebig, Malone, Benson, Marody. On D Jones leads the way with 9pts in 11 games, Bear has been quiet with 0g 2a in 6 games. Lagesson is looking pretty good too.

-Nobody to get excited about on our Wichita affiliate of the ECHL, 3 forward prospects listed doing nothing... Larkin, Vesey, Van Stralen. Skinner has been so-so.

-All of our prospects from the OHL are doing well. Maksimov, McLeod, Safin all over a point a game average. Maks11 goals in 16 games! Bouchard (not listed) is 3gp, 2g 1a.

-Nobody to get too excited about in the NCAA or colleges or Europe. Possibly Berglund or Persson (both D) in the Swedish Elite League will evolve to the NHL in time but it's a hard road. Up front 18 yr old LW Siikanen has 19 pts in 21 games playing in Europe and Skyler Brindamour has looked ok playing with the Chiefs in the BCHL registering 20pts in 25 games. In net Hayden Hawkey has posted some decent #s, in 8 appearances he is 1.52gaa, .928% and 3 shutouts in 8 games playing for Providence College.

And there we have it. Of the forwards, I am currently most excited about Benson and McLeod, on D obviously Bouchard is the highest hope but Jones and Bear are fine prospects too. Gotta root for HH in net just cuz his name is awesome. I really like our OHL prospects.

Go mini Oilers Go...
